Indigofera uses late model Land Rover Defender, air-conditioned 4x4's. They are fitted with a bull-bar, snorkel, CB radio, first aid and recovery kits. These vehicle hold a maximum of six passengers.
The individual elevated huts, with raised floors and real beds, are available with different bedding arrangements, a queen or two singles. Fresh linen, towels and eco-friendly soaps are provided.
Within Litchfield National Park Indigofera Ecotour's exclusive camp, is located on a long billabong by the Reynolds River, named Minjungari. The only power we use is the occasional use of our diesel pump to fill our water tank, apart from this all other power is provided by the sun and fire, sorry no 240v power. Candles and lanterns assist in lighting and cooking is done on the campfire.
The shared facilities include solar heated showers, and composting toilets. The solar panels on the dinning room/kitchen power the fridges, while the solar panels on the eco-hut operate the fans and lights.
